Minnesota State Fair

Between visits with grandparents and parents, Peter visited the Minnesota State Fair three times this year. We figure he was there for at least 29 hours over the three visits.
The animals and barns were a big hit, so were the huge pretzels and the kiddie rides. Peter rode his first roller coaster. He declared [...]

Summer picnic at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

We spent a wonderful summer afternoon having a picnic at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in August. This was one of those “found” days where we had an unexpected free Saturday. We had a wonderful afternoon [...]

I’ve included pictures our Easter celebration, a visit to the spring flower show at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory at Como Park, the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary, and a trip to the Minneapolis waterfront.
With [...]
